Question: I like to consult an endocrinologist for my thyroid problem, please!
I did my blood work, and my TSH, 3rd generation is 0.078, Free T4 1.54, Free T3 is 3.4 and Thyroglobulin is <0.20. I have both of my thyroid removed in 2005 and right now I am taking 88 mcg of synroid.
I have low grade temperature, between 96 to 97F. I felt extremely hot at night as if my blood is boiling but no sweat and my pee is also hot but when I measure my temperature, it is always between 96 to 97 F. My eyesight is bothering me and I feel extremely tired. Please advice. thanks, XXXX
medication taking:
doxepin 25 mg once daily at night
ativan 1 mg once daily at night
carvedilol 3.125 twice daily
clopidogrel 75 mg
Synroid 88 mcg in the morning.

I always took my blood work in the morning, but this time, I took it in the afternoon, any different? But all my symptoms points to thyroid problem. please advice. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Thyroid

Detailed Answer:
I understand what you are saying.

A suppressed TSH like that tends to indicate a potential excess dose of synthroid but that may not always be the case because the TSH can be low like this due to many reasons such as

illness.hospitalization/surgery/stress

effect of medications like steroids and opioids

None of the medications you are taking are known to have this effect though.

Furthermore there is a rare condition called Central hypothyroidism in which the TSH remains low persistently.

So if your TSH stays like this for several months despite appropriate dose reductions in synthroid then you will need to see an endocrinologist in person to undergo a thorough physical examination followed by blood tests if necessary to rule out this condition
