Brief Answer:
allergic reaction or inflammation of local gland

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the query and understood your concern.

Since the bumps are recent onset and are sore, the probable cause is allergic reaction to any recent food items or due to inflammation of minor salivary glands.

For now do cold water gargle and keep rinsing with cold water, take NSAID like aceclofenac and an antihistamine drug like cetrizine. These will help in solving both allergic response as well as inflammation and pain. Don't try to manipulate or put any pressure on the bumps. These measures will help you.

If not recovered in maximum 2 days then you need to get examined once by your doctor just to ruleout any other problem.

I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask for any further queries. I will be glad to answer them.

Wish you good health.
Regards
