Question: I wake up several times a night with arm numbness, sometimes painful. It can be just one or both arms and slowly goes away if I change sleep positions.

It's possible that the nerves to your arms may be getting pinched at the back of the neck.

I would advise you to avoid using a thick pillow. Avoid bending neck forward, carrying or lifting weights. Perform neck extension exercises with the help of a Physiotherapist. Apply hot packs to the affected region at the back of the neck. Take Tablet Diclofenac with Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Rabeprazole twice a day for 5 days before meals.
