What Do Persistent Morning Sickness, Headaches And Aching Muscles Suggest?

Question: Every morning I lift my head up off my pillow and are reaching to be sick, this continues through the day but mainly in the morning. I have no energy, a bad constant headache and aching muscles. I have been like this for 5 weeks now.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

That description is a little worrying I must say. Five weeks is too much to be attributing it to some passing viral infection, it must be investigated.

Morning sickness with persistent headache can be a manifestation of brain lesions such as a tumor. Usually there are additional symptoms so it's too early to panic, but I believe brain imaging is necessary through CT or MRI, especially if there is no prior history of headaches.

Other possible causes would include infections or chronic inflammation. For that reason some blood tests are necessary to screen for changes in that direction, such as complete blood count, c reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, liver and kidney function, electrolyte panel. If changes are found more tests might be needed to search for the source.
