What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?
Question: Hi doctor
My LMP was 12 Sep 2016 and I did my 1st ultrasound yesterday and according to LMP it should be 5 weeks and 2 days but according to ultrasound it is 4 weeks and 2 days
I am attaching the reports can u please guide wat dis reports mean

1 ) First of all do not panic. .
2 ) As you have mentioned that USG shows disparity between Period of gestation and actual gestational age.
This can be due to delayed conception, due to delayed ovulation.
3 ) In such case, I usually suggest to my patients to wait for 10 days and to repeat the USG.
This will help to know the viability and exact gestational age of the pregnancy.
4 ) Till then, continue with your Folic acid, Vitamin B 12 supplements on daily basis.
Take rest.
Mediate.

I have gone through your ans... but is der anything to worry about and my ruptured date was 26 September.. have u seen the reports.
And wat is Msd 4.8mm corresponding 4.2 weeks

As you have mentioned that you are talking micronized progesterone tablets, it is a pregnancy support hormone. Please continue taking it.
MSD, means mean sac diameter. It is size of th e gestational sac, the bag of water in which baby remains floating. It gives some idea about the gestational age I f pregnancy,Un early days of pregnancy.
Secondly, with your ovulation date of 26 , repeat USG will be helpful to know about the viability of the pregnancy.

Now how long u want me to wait n do a repeat check or can I visit a doctor and repeat a sonography to check the growth. Or u want me to wait till 3 Nov.
And meanwhile what precautions you want me to take. Is traveling locally by train or by car will be okay.

I did a home test today mrng it came positive..
And I just thought of sharing this as I was checking rupture was on 26 Sep and According to sonography it is showing 4 weeks and 2 days so according to dates my conception date is showing on 3 oct and last relation we kept was on 1 oct is it possible dat my conception was late.
