Brief Answer:
He needs surgical repair to prevent further damage.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Hi & Welcome to HCM.

I appreciate your concern for your 9 yrs old son XXXXXXX

I can understand your concerns. I have gone through Pushkar's scanning and IV P reports.
The reports are suggestive of NON FUNCTIONING left kidney.

However, in his right ureter there is obstruction (stricture) with dilated pelvi-calyceal system. If left untreated, it can slowly lead to decreased function and gradual destruction of the right kidney as well.

Additional lab tests like Kidney function tests (blood urea, serum creatinine, electrolytes, etc) should be done and urologist consultation should be sought immediately.

Surgery should be done as soon as possible to correct the ureteral narrowing and thus prevent further damage to the right kidney.

Hope to have answered your query.
Should you need more explanation, please feel free to send your query.
Best regards.
