Brief Answer:
Chances of pregnancy is almost nil.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to HCM,

I understand your concerns.

Unwanted72 prevents pregnancy if taken with in 48-72 hours of unprotected sex. In your case you took with in 48hours , so chances of pregnancy is sparce.

The withdrawal bleeding usually occurs within 5-7 days of taking unwanted 72, indicating that it has worked. In your case you got on 5th day, indicates again almost nil chances of pregnancy. It will stop with in 10-12 days.

Since unwanted 72 contains high dosages of hormones, it can disrupt your normal hormonal and period pattern causing bleeding abnormalities and delay in periods.

If in any case, you have abnormal periods/symptoms of pregnancy like missed period, morning sickness, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination.

My advise is if you are not ready for pregnancy, but intend to remain sexually active, you should consider visiting your gynecologist to get started on suitable regular birth control measures to be protected.

Hope this helps.

feel free to ask any query .

take care.

thanks.

Brief Answer:
bleeding is due to effect of unwanted 72.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Sorry for late response,

The bleeding which you have experienced after taking unwanted 72 is due to the hormonal effects of the pill. The bleeding is not related to intercourse. This indicates that the drug has worked, as I mentioned earlier.

The periods might get delayed again due to hormonal effects of unwanted 72.
It may 2-3 cycles for normalization of your periods.

So please do not panic.
Hope I have cleared your confusion.

I wish you well.
Thanks.
