Brief Answer:
Its a SHOW....explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
thanks for contacting hcm for an opinion.
At 9 months pregnancy any form of blood mixed discharge with often mild abdominal cramps or uterine contractions in the background of healthy fetal movements indicate a SHOW. This is a mucous discharge with blood due to stripping of membranes from the lower uterine segment indicating a possible onset of labour within next 24 to 36 hrs. You may review with your physician for a per vaginal exam and an ultrasound to establish the diagnosis soon.

Hello Doctor,

As per your guidance I have consulted my Doctor, and she examined everything and told me to admit as an in patient. In the mean while I have got relief from my pains but after vaginal examination continuous bleeding is going on. Is it a common phenomenon or an abnormality. Please convey me.

{As per doctor's suggestion I have gone through doppler study and other normal blood and urine tests including prothrombin time test also (it results 16sec) every report is seen normal in every aspect as per the statement of my doctor also}

Brief Answer:
Kindly send the ultrasound report...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
This is not a normal phenomenon to bleed continuously as you are depicting. If the bleeding is following a vaginal examination and is continuous then it is a cause of concern especially in cases of placenta previa or low lying placenta.
You have not mentioned as to what was your physician's opinion about the bloody discharge and what has been the ultrasound report .
Were there cervical erosions which were likely cause?.
What is the foetal condition, location placenta all are important.
Please attach the report for perusal.
If the foetal well being has been established and yet the cause of bleeding hasn't been established if its local , placenta or uterine then you have to be kept on strict monitoring for the same to assess the foetal status. If it wasn't show, then a cause needs to be established for the pain and bleed. you need to insist your doctor for a diagnosis.
Else you may attach the ultrasound report please.
