I have taken medication which includes tablets like Omez, Redotil, Nimoraz and paramet but these doesn't seem to be working. I am still feeling nauseatic and diarrhea is still on. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
Probiotics and antiemetic will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

You seem to be suffering from Acute Gastroenteritis. Majority of them are caused by virus and are self limiting. The principle of management is

1. Ensure intake of oral rehydration solution to prevent dehydration

2. Antimotility drug to reduce the frequency of dehydration

3. Probiotics

I would suggest you the following

1. Kindly stop Nimoraz: Antibiotics are generally not indicated, they may infact worsen associated nausea and vomiting

2. Probiotic like Darolac will be helpful

3. Addition of antiemetic like Domperidone which is available s over the counter medication will be helpful

4. Soft diet: Curd rice will be helpful

5. Avoid milk and milk products except curd for 1 week

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
