Brief Answer:
Can wait for ten more days

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
-Usually ovulation will not occur during first five days of menstrual cycle in case of regular 25 days cycle.
So, the possibility of pregnancy is less in your case.
-As you took emergency pill after unprotected intercourse, that might have led to withdrawal bleeding.
The spotting you had could be due to that.
Because of that now your last menstrual period is 19th of May.
-So, you can wait till 19th XXXXXXX
Possibly by that time you will get periods.
If you do not get periods by 19th, consult gynecologist and take tablets for withdrawal bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. I will be available to answer followup queries. If you are satisfied with the response, please give your review at the end of the discussion.
Take care.

Thank you.

What is withdrawal bleeding.

Again in XXXXXXX 6th we had intercourse without any protection as I am allergic to condoms.

will this have any effects. Was it around the ovulation time. We did withdrawal before ejaculation. Will this lead to pregnancy.

When will the fertility period be for a 25 days cycle.

How do I get over the previous side effects.

Brief Answer:
bleeding due to tablets

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If menstrual flow comes as a part of regular menstrual cycle that is called as menstrual period.
If menstrual flow is induced with tablets that is called withdrawal bleeding.
As your lmp is 19th now, ovulation is possible around 6th XXXXXXX
In case of regular 25 days cycle, the fertility period could be between 10th to 12th day.

As you interfered with regular menstrual cycle, now it is difficult to predict the ovulation period.
According to your history, the possibility of pregnancy is less but if you do not get periods by 19th, better to undergo urine pregnancy test once.
Once your regular menstrual cycles start, possibly you may not have any side effects due to previous pill.
Take care.

can you please suggest me if there is any way to stop pregnancy for a year. iam allergic to latex and hence unable to manage with condoms. Having pills ( all types ) is also not an suggestable option, considering the side effects.

we looked out for various option and feel copper T was fine, ( not 100% sure) but i have never conceived till now, so will that effect later ..will it cause any damage to the uterus in future.

Brief Answer:
Better option is oc pills

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
According to your history and age, better option is contraceptive pills only.
Low dose contraceptive pills are having highest efficacy rate when used properly.
Usually when used for short term like one year, there may not be any major side effects.
One more option is monthly progesterone injections. They can be taken once in three months also depending on dosage.
Copper T like IUCDs are usually prescribed to maintain gap between pregnancies.
They can also lead to complications like irregular menstrual periods, pelvic infection etc.

So, you discuss these things with your gynecologist and choose the method suitable for you.

Take care.
