Brief Answer:
Post Menopausal bleeding, Advise to consult Gynecologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

Vaginal bleeding in post-menopausal women could be due to atrophic vaginitis (lack of estrogen causing vaginal epithelium to be thin and fragile), vaginal and cervical polyp, endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the uterine lining), Infection, cervical/vaginal/uterine/ovarian malignancies.

Physical examination, Pelvic/ Vaginal examination, vaginal swab microscopy/culture, and Pelvic Ultrasound are needed as the initial evaluation. Further investigations will be tailored according to the results of the initial screening.

Please be advised to follow up with your Gynecologist as soon as possible.
