Hi,
Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:
1. In absence of any past chest complaints, you seem to be suffering from Acute Bronchitis.
2.In absence of any symptomatic resolution ,you need to get yourself evaluated by a Pulmonologist. Pulmonary function test, chest xray, blood - absolute eosinophil counts and serum IgE levels are some of the investigations that may be required. In case of hyperresponsive airways, inhalers may be required. Also rule out any associated cardiac issues - ECG/2DECHO/TMT may be required.
3. Vigorous coughing leading to unconsciousness may be due to Cough syncope.
4. You are thus advised to get yourself clinically evaluated by a Pulmonologist at the earliest.
I hope I have answered your query. I will be glad to answer follow up queries if any. Please accept my answer if you have no follow up queries.
