Brief Answer:
Need a recheck of thyroid levels, dose adjustment

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX, thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. I understand your frustration. Thyroid diseases are Chronic and need regular monitoring. If i may ask, what medication and dosage is your wife taking for the issue now? Also when were her thyroid levels last checked?

Regular screening of the health of the thyroid gland can be easily gotten through a blood test. A Thyroid Function Test (TFT). It checks the output of the thyroid and sees if the output is too little or too high.

My feeling in this case is that the thyroid medication your wife is taking is insufficient and will probably need to be increased. But the adjustment can only be determined by looking at the TFT.

So I would suggest you take your wife to your local diagnostic center on an empty stomach in the morning and get a TFT done. Once those results are back, share them with me and we can formulate a plan of action to help her.

Make sense? I look forward to your thoughts,

Vinay
