Brief Answer:
Cellulitis/ hypothyroid.,

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. There are many possibilities.
One is possibility of cellulitis as you are having hot feeling to touch. Rest, elevation, icing and analgesic is helpful. If you are having fever then you need to be done incision and drainage for which you have to visit doctor.
Second possibility can be hypoactive ( less thyroid) for which you have to increase dose of thyroid. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

Hello Dr. thanks for your reply.
my doctor is concerned that he cannot solve my problem as yet.At the moment it feels very hot and during the night wakes me,it feels like a electric shock under the skin I have been rubbing it with a non-ionic cream,Cetomacrogol cream BP BB formular which sooths the pain a little.it feels like nerve endings and is quite sore to rub.
just a as thought could it be Crips /krips? if you think it could be what can I do to help fix it.i thank you in anticipation. XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Analgesic such as ibuprofen and Mecobalamine may be of help.

Detailed Answer:

Hi

You can get your thyroid function test (T3,T4 and TSH). If found hypothyroid then increasing dose of thyroid hormone will decrease swelling. Mecobalamine will relieve of neuralgic pains Rest, elevation, icing and analgesic such as ibuprofen is helpful in relieving pain.Cellulitis can be diagnosed by visiting doctor. You can visit a physician for better evaluation.
Everything else already discussed.
