What Causes Swollen Eye And Numb Face After Having Vyvanse?

Question: My daughter woke up and her eye is swollen and the right side of her face is numb, she started taking vyvanse 2 weeks ago and just started a higher dose, she has been complaining of headaches and some muscle aches, should I take her to the emergency room?

Your daughter seems to have a severe allergic reaction. Vyvanse is not known to cause numbness or eye swelling. However headache and muscle aches can be there.

It is better to get a primary evaluation done at ER to determine the cause of facial numbness.
