Brief Answer:
Your mother are most probably having Sialadenitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX ,
Thanks for the query.

I have read your query , seen your mother report and understand your concern.

After reading your mother clinical history & sonographic report it appears that your mother are most probably having Sialadenitis ( inflammation of a salivary gland ).

In my opinion , swelling will decrease within 10 days with medical treatment .
If swelling will not subside within 10 days , FNAC needed to know the cause for swelling & organism involved .

If I were her treating Doctor for this case , I would advice her
Antibiotic ,
anti inflammatory analgesic Paracetamol + Ibuprofen combination ,
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids & ORS powder solution .

She will get relief .

You can discuss this with your treating doctor.

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
