What Causes Sudden Swelling, Tingling And Bruised Foot?

Question: Hello! I've been taking care of my ailing parents the last week and all of a sudden I wake up and my foot is swollen, it's tingling and the top of the foot feels like it was bruised. I find a hard time walking on it but I try not to think about it since I have alot on my plate right now.

No.. I don't have any chronic diseases.. my mother has heart disease and my father just had a stroke but I wasn't sure... I am in pretty good shape, I was just hoping that I wasn't having a stroke or heart problem.

You are welcome. I have gone through your reply and may I assure you that it is not because of any heart ailment or stroke. You will get over it in few days time with following-
1. Limb elevation, crepe bandage, Ice fomentation.
2. Tab.Ibuprofen along with anti allergic drugs like cetrizine will help.
I hope your routine blood test are normal like blood sugar, serum creatinine and blood urea?
