Brief Answer:
Can be vaginal dryness or nerve compression.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The sudden stricken pains in the vagina that you have at this age can be related to vaginal dryness due to post menopausal hormonal changes or due to a mild nerve root compression at the level of lower lumbar spine.
It is best to get yourself physically examined by a gynecologist for any local lesion. Do get mild pain killers and methylcobalamin supplements prescribed and see if it helps. In case the pain persists then consulting a neurologist will help.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

thank you. I just read about spasms and that's how it feels. I also have pains in my groin and back. I had a urinary infection however, I still have pains in my groin. The lower left side.

Brief Answer:
Muscle relaxant will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The spasms are more suggestive of nerve compression. The urinary infection is less likely to cause a pain in the groin. Taking oral muscle relaxants and a hot compress will help.
Hope my answer is helpful.
