Brief Answer:
Problems related to nerves need to be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
Sudden onset of double vision is usually because of involvement of the extraocular muscles or the nerves supplying them.
If the double vision is persistent and present only on opening both the eyes, then it can occur in nerve paralysis or paresis.
If the double vision is transient then it can occur because of transient ischemia as in hypotension, hypoglycemia, hypovolemia and vascular causes.

Since the eye examination is normal it rules out the intraocular causes for double vision.

Hence please give me details like
Whether the double vision is persistent or transient?
whether the double vision is present only on opening both the eyes or present even with one eye being kept open?

Please provide me details so that I can answer your question more accurately.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
