Brief Answer:
THis si running too low and too fast!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this very high blood pressure measurement that you have. This is certainly a concern and I am happy this has been managed. I will like to know if you had been treated for hypertension before or this was just a one time observation of elevated blood pressure which is being managed. Also, what were the surrounding circumstances of this diagnosis? You were stressed up/had some difficulties going on, etc. If this were a first and the lone time with high blood pressure readings, I will suggest that we stop this treatment and control. There might have been something the provide this abrupt increase and not that you are for real hypertensive and need to be on drugs all through. The rapid fall is a concern to me and makes me think that there is very little which is suggestive of you having been hypertensive before.

In all, this is falling too low and too fast. This medication should be stopped or the treatment readjusted to lower doses. If you have never been hypertensive, then this was rather a too aggressive treatment. '

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
NOt there yet!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is unlikely that you are about having a stroke at this time. These numbers are rather reassuring. I Will recommend that you work with a cardiologist on figuring out what is wrong as hard to treat hypertension could imply there is a cause which needs to be addressed.

I wish you well and keep me updated!

Brief Answer:
Stress and fright only make things worse!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.

Please, be calm and relaxed about this. Getting more worried only makes things worse. I will suggest that you relax about this. Why are you so scared? The ER personnel would be able to offer the needed help to you. Just be patient, confident, relaxed and belief all would be okay.

I wish you well.

I am scared because coronary artery disease runs in my family. Mother died at 42, sister at 53, Dad had quadruped bypass at 50 why wouldn't I be scared .Plus , my BP is running great but I get these hot flashes that start in my head, my heart rate goes up and I feel terrible. Not sure what is going on. My doctor wont see me until Tuesday. I know my body and something is not right. No chest pains, shortness of breath , so what could it be . oh , will se a cardiologist , that was the best advice yet, thank you

Brief Answer:
Keep me updated with your progress!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Like I said seeing a cardiologist would be very helpful and guiding in guiding your management. Truth is that you have reasons to be concerned seen how many people have died from heart diseases in your family. however, it is only a risk and not a certain fact that you can also have a possible heart disease. There are more chances that you will not have than have a heart disease though higher when compared to the general population.

I wish you well and plead that you exercise patience.

I wish you well
