Hello XXXXXXX and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

A stroke occurs when blood supply of brain is impaired.

Stroke causes are most commonly occlusive i.e. narrowing of a cerebral artery by thrombus or embolus. (ischemic stroke), more less commonly stroke is hemorrhagic one ( intracerebral hemorrhage or subarachnoidal hemorrhage).

Risk factors directly related to stroke are: high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, cardiovascular disease ( atrial fibrillation), smoking and diabetes.

Hope this explains your concerns. If you have further questions or clarifications feel free to ask, if not, you can close the conversation and rate the answer.

Wishing you good health.
