Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HealthcareMagic!

I understand your concern and would explain that these high blood pressure values could be caused as a reaction to the pain.

Although the location of the pain seems to be the stomach, it is not really common to have sudden stomach pains while sitting and watching TV.

Indigestion and gastritis can be the cause of all this clinical scenario, but considering your age and this clinical situation, I would recommend investigating further for any other possible causes that may lead to this symptomatology (cardiac ischemia, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, pulmonary embolism, etc.).

For this reason, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:

- a chest X Ray study
- a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- D-dimmer levels
- an abdominal ultrasound
- complete blood count, PCR for inflammation
- kidney and liver function tests
- amylase and lipase levels for pancreatitis.

Meanwhile, I recommend taking an anti-acid. If it helps improve your situation, it would indicate possible gastritis or indigestion, underlying your complaints.

Hope to have been helpful! Let me know if I could assist you further.

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
