What Causes Sore Throat With Bodyaches?
Question: I have a sore throat, body aches, and mucus in my throat and very little mucus in my nose. My resting heart rate is around 79. I don't know if I have a fever.

Sore throat with bodyaches usually are due to viral upper respiratory tract infections.
Do not worry , follow some general measures and you should be fine.
1) You can take a pain killer for the sore throat like tylenol after checking the dose .
2) Do warm salt water gargling 4 times daily .
3) Drink plenty of warm fluids. upto 4 litres per day.
4) Avoid using the air conditioner.
5) Do not drink or eat anything cold.
60 Get plenty of rest.
If you do not feel better in the next 3 days then you need to see a doctor because you may need a course of antibiotics.
