Brief Answer:
There is no chance of HIV after DNA PCR Negative

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

If DNA PCR test for HIV is negative after 40 days of possible exposure it is very much confirm that you are not having HIV infection.

The possibility of becoming HIV positive after 90 days of possible exposure is very much unlikely and nothing to worry.

Symptoms of sore throat and mouth ulcer may be due to some other infection which should be manged by appropriate medicines. If DNA PCR is negative after 40 days, its specificity is very high and you need not to worry.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
No need of STD tests

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up query,

The symptoms are not in favor of any STIs and as you have tested them previously once again it is not required.

I would suggest you to undergo other lab investigations like CBC, blood culture and urine routine to know if there is any features of acute infections due to bacteria and virus.

The symptoms should be managed by using antibiotics, NSAIDs and mouth ulcer gel to combat the symptoms.HIV infection is highly unlikely as DNA PCR is negative. Fear of HIV is making you more concern to your symptoms.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Don't think it is either HIV or STI

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up query,

You can test for HIV antibodies after 90 days of possible exposure only to make sure you are HIV negative. As DNA PCR is negative after 40 days of possible exposure it will be negative after 90 days too.

The other symptoms should be managed symptomatically with antibiotics and the mouth ulcer gel like Ulgel.
Thank you.
