What Causes Sore Penis While On Azithromycin?

Question: My boyfriend recently went to the doctor due to a sore (which turned out to be an ingrown hair). However, he also complained of a sore tip of the penis. He said there was no discharge just sore. The doctor acted a little irresponsibly in my opinion because instead of testing him for stds he gave him a shot of something I don't know what and azithomycin and Bactrum. No I'm uninsured and have to get tested on Wednesday but I do have a few questions of symptoms I may be experiences of an on painful urinatiom and also a thick which discharge with no odor it's just way more white than it usually is. I'm so confused any answers?

Based on the facts that you have posted, your boyfriend has probably developed soreness of tip of his penis mostly due to inflammation of tip of Urethra (Urethritis) due to either unprotected sex or oral sex .

In view of you having burning urination and white discharge both of you need to consult qualified Sexual Disease specialist and get following basic tests done to rule out STD .
1) Urine routine and culture
2) Swab test and culture of discharge
3) Blood test for STD .

Ensure your boyfriend washes his genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till both of you get cured completely.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Im just confused because hos doctor never actually tested him he just said "doesnt look like an STD but he gave him bactrim and athiromycin i belive "just in case" i am gettinf trsted tomoreow either qay but i feel that it was irresponsible on his doctors end to not screen him bit treat him anyways. How long doesnit take for herpes to show up? I am just praying it is not somethinf incurable if anything at all. We last had sex about a month and half to tow months ago. I have no herpes like marks and no other symptoms besides the very whit discharge which as i said has no odor just very white in color. I am getting screened tomorrow just very very nervous. I had a pap smear in august for my birth control do they automatically screen for atds during that. Sorry so many questions just very nervous and upset with him as well as his doctor for not even finding out for sure if he had an std

I know i am just a very paranoid person who has suffered with anxiety all my lofe and injust recently found out that this guy has done nothing but loe to me for the past 6 months and that hes been absuong pain medicine as well as cheating and i am automatically assuming the worst such as HIV or something incurable. May i ask you one more question? You have been so helpful. My ex just informed me that the bumps were both on the head of his penis as well as around the base of his shaft. He said that the doctor squeezed them and examined them and said that they did not appear to be herpes but what else could bumps around the head of the penis be? I went to the doctor today and she did not do an exam she said if i had herpes i would know so she just did a urine test and said it will come back in 3-5 days. Im just concerned because i dont know what else would cause bumps or sores on the head of the penis and he keeps adding to the story every time i talk to him. If we last had sex two weeks ago would i already show signs of herpes or is it possible that if this is what he has that he got it in the last two weeks. I just have never heard of pimple like marks on the head of the penis unless it is herpes even though his doctor said it didnt appear to be

I have tried to get him to give me a picture but he refuses. All he keeps saying is that the doctor said it didnt look like herpes. When i asked them what the looked like he said little white heads. I have no bumps or pimple like pustules and we last had sex about 2 weeks ago so im just praying that if it is herpes that he contacted it after that two week period. Im just nervous because my doctor didnt feel it was necessary to examine me she said a urine screening would suffice for the STDs that were a possibility. Is there any other causes for whitehead like bumps on the penis?
