Question: Shall breathing awake and sleep, tired frequently. I am overweight. I've had allergy related asthma before. regular meds escitalopram, fluticasone, sulindac.

Following investigations helps in making appropriate diagnosis-
1) Complete blood count.
2) Liver function test.
3) Renal function test.
4) Arterial blood gas analysis.
5) T3, T4, TSH.
6) Chest xray.
7) ECG and 2DEcho of heart.
8) Pulmonary function test.
9) Sleep study (Polysomnography).

You should consult Respiratory physician for detailed clinical evaluation.

Hi,

If there is something that you can do at home is weight reduction. In fact it is going to be the most essential and important treatment.

Besides this , there is a need for life style modification.
Regular exercise depending upon your cardiac and lung status after discussing with your physician.
Diet modification.
Weight reduction.
Try to sleep with head end elevated.
Control of blood pressure.

Other treatment aspects can be planned after we have results of aforementioned tests.
