What Causes Severy Pain After Rupruring A Blood Vessel?

Question: My wife had what she thought was a ruptured a bold vessel in her middle finger picking up a large stone It has continued to hurt badly after icing it for up to 3hours Could it have been an insect bite like a spider,scorpion ? She has taken benedril And ibufrouin(?)

It seems that there can be a insect bite with more probability of scorpion sting. Severe pain is observed in scorpion sting and it is unbearable. She has already taken anti allergic and pain killer. Hope she gets relief soon. Local anesthetic like Xylocaine can help in reducing severe pain, but should be taken only medical supervision. I hope this is helpful to you.
