Brief Answer:
Yes, these are rare side effects, but of omeprazole not Zantac

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The chills that you are experiencing are not a side effect of Zantac, but a rare side effect of omeprazole, and I would request you to report to your doctor with the same.

Blurring of vision is also not a side effect of Zantac, but a side effect of omeprazole and is only seen when there is an overdose of omeprazole in the system. I would thus request you to cut back on the omeprazole and report to your doctor at the earliest.

In the meantime sir, please drink plenty of water, avoid stress, avoid smoking, avoid alcohol, avoid vomiting to your best capabilities, avoid vigorous exercise, avoid overeating, and avoid oily and spicy food.

I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you sir.

Best wishes.
