Brief Answer:
Pain recovers in 2-3 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your history and complaints of back pain, caused due to wedge compression fracture, which occurred due to fall.

In the initial period, the treatment is rest, followed by exercises/physiotherapy, which has been followed in your case. A use of brace, and pain killers may be helpful.

With these measures, pain reduces in most people within 3 months.

If pain persists despite rest and physiotherapy, then, a minor operation called as vertebroplasty is done. In this procedure, a bone cement (polymethylmethacrylate, PMMA) is injected into the bone via skin.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
