Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Thank you for posting the query.

From the complaints and your history, lumbar disc prolapse pinching the nerves of leg seems to be the cause of the pain.

The tablet EVION LC,prescribed by your doctor is correct but if it is the only tablet that has been prescribed, then it will take lots of time for your pain to go away.

Pinched nerves usually are associated with inflammation and hence the pain occurs. Anti inflammatory tablets, analgesics, local analgesic gel with hot fomentation should also be taken.

Using a lumbosacral belt and rest is recommended.

Physiotherapy, including lumbar traction, infra red, short wave diathermy will also be helpful for faster recovery.

You should be eventually fine in a few days.

Feel free to consult me anytime if you have any doubts.

Thank you.

Kind regards

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

I have gone through your reports and i think you are getting the right treatment ,

Physiotherapy is the main part of the treatment and you should take it for atleast 15 days.

Avoid taking more of pain killer tablets as they could harm your kidneys and liver in long run.

Thank you.

Dear Sir,

Many thanks.
In my prescription I think

Movon, Nortrymptomer p, TRD MD, and EVION LC are 4 pain kileers.

Out of these, Nortrymptomer p causing heavy Nausea,& TRD MD causing slight nausea. Should I avoid these two.

After reading my MRI report, please mention the specific physiotherapy tests to be carried out by me. This is my last query.

Regards.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

Yes,its better if you can avoid TRD-MD and nortryptomer.

Even movon is a painkiller.Take it only when the pain is severe.

The main tablet is EVION and take it for atleast 2-3 months.

Physiotherapy should include-
1. Lumbar / Leg traction
2. Infra red therapy or Short Wave Diathermy or Laser therapy
3. Back exercises,as tolerated.

Thank you.

Wish you a speedy recovery.
