What Causes Roughness Inside Mouth And Red Bumps On Both Cheeks?
Question: This morning i woke up and on my way to work i noticed that the inside of my mouth had a funny texture. tiny bumps and redness is present. Both sides of cheeks
Welcome. I can understand your concerns. Due to some local irritation of buccal skin, it happens. Don't worry and apply Somogel on cheeks inside the mouth. Leave for a few minutes and then rinse with plain water. Omeprazole40mg before breakfast for 7days. Gargles with listerine Mouthwash 3 times a day if not allergic to listerine.

Actually there are many ingredients used to make chocolate during the processing of Cocoa beans. There are phenols, proteins, caffeine, sugars, minerals, and flavor compounds that are added in candy making process.
My question is, are you allergic to some other food item too? If yes to any food allergen, its highly possible that you have got a food allergy from chocolate too. The symptoms then coincide with this allergy and needs immediate attention.
You may try white chocolate as part of your food item, that is less likely to cause allergy.
This kind of lesions heal up in less than a week. You keep a good hydration and oral hygiene to expedite the healing process. Start the aforementioned treatment. If you feel irritation or redness persists until tomorrow, start tablet claritin by mouth 1 daily for 5 days. It's not a big disease to bother much, as it is self healing most of the times. You just need symptomatic treatment.

It looks like a rash today. But in spots. No real texture inside just the blotchy red spots some are faint and some are tiny and dark

Take tablet Claritin as I mentioned earlier too. Keep a good hydration. Fresh fruit juices made at home, are best for you. keep a balanced healthy diet. Try not to take a diet that is hard on cheeks, to avoid irritation. Soda and caffeinated drinks are better to avoid until the lesions go away.

Patients with Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, and Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, present differently than your case. They have more manifestations of neurologic problems, decreased hemoglobin and RBC counts, decreased platelet counts in blood.
As you are worried, just to make you clear of all doubts, I would like to extend your workup. I need answers on some points in your disease history:-
*. Do you have noticed recently, your altered mental status, any kind of seizures, body weakness on one side, deranged sensations of hands or feet, visual disturbances, and/or difficulty speaking.
*. Unexplained fatigue, shortness of breath.
*. The red/blue spots anywhere on body especially on legs, without any trauma physically.
*. Had fever, pale yellow skin and eyes color (jaundiced).
*. Did you notice dark colored urine.
*. Unusual gum bleeds, Change in stool color. If yes, which color it turned into?
If you have a reasonable number of above mentioned symptoms, Its highly needed to go for some Laboratory Blood work. What I need is:
*.Complete Blood Count with Differentials.
*. HBSAg and Anti HCV by ELISA, and PT,aPTT
*. HIV Ab
