Brief Answer:
Decongestants.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.

This is due to negative pressure building up in the middle ear cavity.
Normally the pressure between the two sides of the eardrum is equalized by free flow air through Eustachian tube (ET). But, when we get cold, the mucosa become congested and ET function is impaired.

This can be helped by early initiation of decongestants during cold. In such cases, I usually suggests antihistamines like Levocetirezine 5mg once daily for about 5 days. If severe, vasopressors like phenylephrine also will be added.

You can try Levocetirezine for 3 to 5 days. Also continue Advil for 3 days.
Chewing gum will help frequent opening of ET.
If you do not get better by 2 days of these measures, kindly see your doctor without further delay.

Hope this will answer your query.
Wishing for a faster cure.
Thank you.
