What Causes Redness Inside The Mouth?
Question: My daughter is aged 2years 8 months. Since morning, inside portion of her mouth turned reddish, starting from inside portion of her lips. She is not complaining of any pain.
Kindly advise.

Usually reddish rash from inside of lips to mouth can be
A. Viral infection which is very common in this season. This spreads by droplets and usually is self limiting. If no pain, no antibiotics are required.
B. Aphthous ulcer which can be stress induced or as a result of vitamin b complex deficiency.
Send us some pictures of the same to help you out more.
Meanwhile application of ointments like zytee is safe in the red areas to help.in healing.
Let her drink plenty of liquids and juices.
