Brief Answer:
VULVITIS

Detailed Answer:
Hello, thanks for the query to hcm,
This is vulvitis , infection of vulva.
This can happen secondary to follicular infection or abrasive injury following wearing tight undergarments. The best would be to ideally get a swab test done for culture to isolate the organism and accordingly based on sensitivity start on a course of antibiotics.
However you may use NEOMYCIN OINTMENT locally thrice a day for 3-5 days and keep the local area dry and clean. Also use alkaline vaginal washes like VAGISIL thrice a day to maintain hygiene and vaginal pH.
Avoid tight fitting undergarments. If the redness and inflammation doesn't decrease in next 24 hrs then antibiotics would have to be started empirically, like TAB OFLOX-OZ ( OFLOXACIN+ ORNIDAZOLE ) 1 tab twice a day for 5 days. That shall cover for gram positive , negatives and even anaerobes. You may discuss with your gynecologist and get them prescribed if needed.
