What Causes Red Pus Filled Pores And Dry Skin On Legs?

Question: I have really dry skin on my legs, and quite a few of my pores are red and some with puss coming out of them. I also really want to shave my legs!! But I'm not sure if this will irate my pores more.. What's the best thing to do and to use? What are the best methods of shaving with my condition?

It is a bacterial infection.
Shaving might irritate the skin further hence it's better to avoid.
