Can be sun rash/fungal infection/allergic rash

The said rash can be from causes like sun rash, allergic rash/contact dermatitis, or a fungal infection.
it will be help to me if you can give few more details in this regard.

1) For how long the rash has been there?
2) Is there any discharge/oozing? Is the overlying skin scaling/peeling?
3) What is the exact position? Is it in the mid line towards collar bone, or towards one side?
4) Did aristocort lotion give any relief?
5) It will be very helpful if you can upload a good quality picture.

Brief Answer:
Can be early Tinea or discoid eczema.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for the information given.

From your description and picture, this seems like either an early Tinea(superficial fungal infection), or a variant of eczema called "dry discoid eczema".

You can use "clotrimazole-beclomethasone" cream. Apply twice daily. If it is getting down in 1 week of usage, just continue application for a total of 6-8 weeks. This is needed for preventing relapse.
Otherwise, if not getting down, kindly see a dermatologist for a direct examination and evaluation to review the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry, and avoid enough green leafy veggies and fruits in your diet.

Hope this answer will help.
Be free to ask if you need further clarification.
Thank you.
