What Causes Recurrent Episodes Of Chills And Shivering?

Question: I feel chills regularly. I feel cold and shivering regularly, The chills start in the chest and spread to other parts of the body. I am a heart patient and I have stent in my heart. I am not sure if these symptoms are related to heart. I experienced gastric attack 2 weeks back and had to go to emergency care. Please advise what could be the cause of my symptoms.

Your symptom of recurrent chills and shivering suggests some focus of infection in body.As you are diabetic it is possible that you may gave urinary infection or some hidden infection somewhere.I suggest you to get your complete blood count along with routine urine analysis .you should keep good control of diabetes .Once you get these report you may need further evaluation and a course of antibiotics .
Such symptoms are not related to stent in your heart.
