default
Posted on Tue, 24 Jun 2014
Question: It's been over a week and I have a raised red bump that resembles a callous on the head of my penis. It does not puss, flake, itch or even hurt. It's about the size of a pea and kinda flat. It's driving me crazy.

Brief Answer:
Clinical assessment needs to be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
A red colored painless bump on penis could be due to many causes.
Warts are one of the lesions which can lead to painless bumps on external genitalia.
Warts are caused by viral infection.
Skin tag is another entity which can produce skin colored bumps.
Lack of pain or itchiness rules out presence of sexually transmitted diseases.
However, avoid sexual contact till the condition is treated.

You need to consult a dermatologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations for treatment of the condition.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.
