Question: I woke up with purple pin prick marks on my inner thighs. What could that be?

It could be due to fall in platelet count.

I have checked the attached image. It seems either to be bruising due to trauma, or it could be petechial spots (ecchymosis) due to low platelet count. I would suggest you to get a complete blood count done.
