Brief Answer:
Several possibilities

Detailed Answer:
but these need an immediate evaluation

problems with functioning in general affecting exercise capacity:
anemia
diabetes
thyroid
severe lung disease or minor asthma
out of control htn

and specifically heart disease. although you would really expect LEFT arm pain, the decreased exercise tolerance by itself is enough to be concerned about the possibility of heart disease

Thank you for your reply....I was diagnosed with low Vit B 12 6 months ago and am receiving cytamen injections (x 4) but I don't think that this was very serious....could low B12 be giving me these symptoms? Also what does htn stand for?
thank you

Brief Answer:
b12 defiency is not common

Detailed Answer:
before age 65. I'd want to see the actual levels int he blood. Furthermore a SHILLING'S TEST might also be a good idea. B12 causes problems in nerves BUT the nerves would be all over and the longest would be the most severely affected (ends of limbs.. .and numbness more than pain).
HTN... hypertension. sorry, didn't have a computer available at the time.
then... conditions that can cause b12 deficiency in a young person would be those that affect gut function. OR being an extreme vegetarian. Mostly it is bacterial overgrowth right in the part of the colon that would absorb the b12 (generally other signs of infection and gut problems). Along those lines, Crohns, an inflammatory condition of the bowel can mess up a lot of absorption including b12 and would cause abdominal pain that is not subtle and not intermittant.. would be a LOT of the time.

Brief Answer:
gosh I hate to say anything on this.

Detailed Answer:
The fundamental feature of evil is walling oneself off from another and blaming them for it. Male doctors have done that with ever female-specific medical thing since there've been male doctors. Not being able to be pregnant, having changes in circulation.. those I'm ok on with menopause and everything else I really worry about ascribing it to menopause. And for that matter, most people who get b12 injections (even those who don't even need them) say they get hot flashes from it so, I'm not even sure about ascribing hot flashes to menopause in your situation!

I'm wondering about thoracic outlet. Causes sudden funny feelings in arms and chests. Usually painful. Usually semi-out of the blue and sudden but also associated with particular positions of the arms that trigger it.

It tends to occur suddenly one day and recur haphazardly. While there are occupations/traumas/chest shapes that cause it, even those who get it from a car accident get it out of the blue and not right after the accident and it comes and goes quite unpredictably even in those you'd predict would have it.

Yeah, the vegetarianism predisposes to b12 but non-meat animal products also have b12.
