I read your question and i understand your concern. Age of 77 with postprandial dizziness could be many things. It could be a postural and Postprandial hypotension or BPPV ( Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). Labyrinth disorders of inner ear are also very common and may cause such dizziness episodes however these are not limited to just post meals.

Heart problems, thyroid problem, stomach problems like gastritis, emotional problems like depression , Medications like blood pressure, anti histamines etc may make a person dizzy after eating.

It needs a little work up to rule out any grave cause like heart problem etc. Once rule dout slight symptomatic treatment with antivert or any other antivertigo medicine and some modifications will fix the issue.

Meanwhile try these home remedies to prevent or reduce the post prandial dizzines episodes.

Avoid skipping meals, especially breakfast.
Eat meals on time.
Eat dinner at least two hours before bedtime.
Avoid eating large meals in one sitting. It is advisable to eat small, regularly spaced-out meals.
Avoid drinking soda and other carbonated drinks with meals. Drink water or other healthy beverages such as lime juice, coconut water, or fresh fruit juice.
Stay well hydrated with water by drinking at regular intervals.
If you are suffering from gastritis, avoid fatty foods and eat only fruits and vegetables for a few days, followed by a balanced diet after symptoms subside.
Avoid doing strenuous activities after eating.
Certain spices help decrease feelings of dizziness after eating, such as cayenne and ginger. Brew some herbal tea to drink after meals.

I have read all of your comments in various articles. It appears there really no answer. It is very debilitating and depressing as it renders you helpless.surely there must be a medicine that helps

There are medicines for sure to help dizziness. Antivert and betahistidines are drugs of choice for dizziness. But one has to rule out the cause of it sir. Its a standard procedure.

You may take orally the medications these are available over the counter.
