Question: been having symptoms of pins and needles coming and going in my right foot and pain under my foot (front half) as well as soreness and numbness in the area of my 5th toe (behind my toe and along the outside of my right foot. My nerologist carried out extensive checks for neuropathy and MS (EMG / Nerve conduction studies / plus a whole range of other physical tests) and also all my blood work has been done to check on diabetes, B12 defenciency etc etc. All nothing. He requested a MRI of the lumbar region to see if there was anything there that could the be the cause of my sypmotoms, attached is the results. What do you think?

Brief Answer: You have mild nerve compression at spine Detailed Answer: I have studied your case and seen your MRI reports. I have come to following conclusions 1. Your MRI is showing disc prolapse and nerve of foot is compressed due to that , but it is very early stage. 2. You should start physiotherapy and back muscle strengthening exercises, these exercise will relieve pressure on nerves. 3.Also start taking Pregabalin and Methylcobal tablets daily at evening time. Pregabalin is a sedative and do not take it in day time as you may feel giddiness. I hope your symptoms will be relieved after 2 to 3 months of above mentioned treatment. Let me know if i can answer any other question. Thanks and take care.
