Brief Answer:
This seems like normal spotting before periods.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

I have seen the attached image.
The pinkish discharge in your case can be due to two reasons.
1.Normal premenstrual spotting due to hormonal changes --Any physical or emotional stress, sudden weight change etc, can cause hormonal changes. In all probability you will be starting your period in a day or two. You need not worry about this.
2.Are you sexually active? If so then there is a possibility of pregnancy. This could be implantation bleeding. Get a pregnancy test done.

I hope this helps.
If you have any further queries, do write to me. I will be happy to answer.

Brief Answer:
Get your pregnancy test done first.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Since you are sexually active, there is a small possibility of pregnancy too. So get your pregnancy test done. If it is negative, await for your period in a day or two.

As long as the pregnancy test is negative, you need not worry even if you do not get your period. An occasional one time irregular period like this is normal.

I hope this helps.

i did one today and it looked negative but then i looked at it again and there is a very very faint line. could that be because i left it and how fae would i be

Brief Answer:
Repeat the test tomorrow on early morning urine sample.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The pregnancy strip test should be done as per instructions.

Yes it is possible that the very faint line you saw later could be because you left it and read it later ( The test reagent and XXXXXXX must have given that impression).

So repeat the test tomorrow on early morning urine sample. Follow the instructions given with the kit for the valid interpretation of the test.

If the test comes out to be positive, then you are 4 weeks pregnant. Gestational age is calculated from the last period.
I hope this helps.
Do write to me for any further concerns. I will be happy to answer.

Brief Answer:
I cannot see the second line.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I cannot see the second line. It means that you are not pregnant. (If this is bothering you get a blood pregnancy test done as it is more sensitive and reliable).

You may get your period in a day or two. As written above as long as the pregnancy test is negative, you need not worry even if you do not get your period. An occasional one time irregular period like this is normal.

I hope this helps.
If you have any further concerns, I will be happy to answer
