Posted on Tue, 23 May 2017
Question: I injured my upper arm 4 weeks ago. It got stuck in elevator doors and was squeezed severely. The bruising, swelling and hot to touch has improved but still exists. Should I be concerned or will it eventually heal on its own?

Brief Answer:
Respected XXXX,hi be concerned get an Ultrasound of that part done.

Detailed Answer:
Respected XXXX, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
*Clinical photograph of the same would be of great help if not objectional for you.
*Persistance of bruise, swelling & raised skin temperature after 4 weeks indicate
definite underlying tissue damage still present.
*You should definitely be concerned regarding it for faster recovery rather than
waiting for eventual healing on its own or ending up in any other problem.
*Strongly suggest Ultrasound of the local part to evaluate Hematoma &
Cellulitis.
*Would like to give further assistance for any queries regarding your current
condition.
Hope this clears your query.
