Brief Answer:
His symptoms are suggestive for IBS...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your son symptoms are suggestive for IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). His pain is caused frombowel spasms which are very common and painful in patients with IBS.

However if he was my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations in order to exclude other possible causes of his symptoms:
- blood work
- ecg
- cardiac echo
- chest x ray
- indigestion tests

If all his exams will be normal than his symptoms are caused by IBS and he should do the following measures to relieve hissymptoms:
- eat often and small portions
- avoid alcohol, caffeine and energy drink
- avoid spicy food
- use simeticone
- use antacids (Malox)
- use antispastic (Buscopan)

Hope this was of help!
Wish you and your family health!
