What Causes Penile Discharge When On Azithromycin?
Question: Hi I have a discharge from my penis I went to the clinic got tested everything came back negative but the nurse said I have a bacteria so she gave 4pick pills to take at once AZITHROMYCIN 250mg I took them bout a month ago I still have a discharge in it feels like it's n the head of my penis n when I pee I pee n a glass jar in the pee I could see discharge in there floating around an the pee b cloudy with discharge what's going on PLEASE HELP ME

This is a common disorder from bacteria causing the penile discharge that is not gonorrhea. The most common cause of this infection can be chlamydia or trichomonas or other bacterial infections. Usually these infections can be controlled or cured with the Zithromax but occasional you will need additional medication. Therefore, I recommend that you return to your medical provider and ask for additional treatment. They may start you on both doxycycline and metronidazole, These antibiotics cover the bacterial and possible parasite trichomonas which can cause non-gonococcal urethritis.
