What Causes Peeling And Discoloration Of Urethral Opening?
Question: I've been seeing a thin black lining around the hole of my penis. But if I rub it, it comes off. It seems to have the texture and feel of a skin layer. I just don't understand why it would be black. Also, the looking inside the hole of my penis, it seems to be white. Previously, it seemed to look like a normal skin color or pink.

Peeling of the skin associated with discolouration of the opening (urethral meatus ) suggest the possibility of Balanitis near the tip. Inflammation of Urethral opening is associated with shredding of lining which gives peel like consistency. Exact diagnosis will however depend on good clinical examination.
It would be helpful if you could provide me with clinical photograph. Also kindly provide me with the following additional information
1. Is there associated pain or itching?
2. Are you circumcised?
3. Duration since you are facing it

No real pain or itching but I do feel a little discomfort sometimes, like a slight pinching or squeezing on the tip. Not all the time though. Yes I am circumcised. I've been dealing with this for about a week and a half.
