Brief Answer:
switch to other ppi

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

Omeprazole doesn't frequently cause panic attacks but in some cases it may cause. Not so common. You may be susceptible for that. It takes 4 to 5 days for omeprazole action to completely go off from body.

Ranitidine also may cause panic attacks in some. I suggest you to discuss with your doctor and change to other ppi like pantoprazole which is comparatively safe. And PPi are more effective for stomach ulcer then Ranitidine.

Some people will be susceptible to all acid suppressing drugs. If in case you are getting side effects with pantoprazole also then you may discuss the need for surgery for cure.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help.
