Brief Answer:
Pale stool can be a sign of bile ducts obstruction.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Pale stool can sometimes appear due to Mylanta chronic intake. So if the stool has changes a day after you took Mylanta, that's the most probable reason.
However, pale stool is also a sign of bile ducts obstruction. It can appear due to gallstones (most common) or in rare cases can be the first sign of pancreas tumor.
Bile ducts obstruction can be the reason of upper abdominal pain as well as nausea, lack of appetite. Urine usually gets dark.

It is strongly recommended for you to have abdominal ultrasound, blood work (with bilirubin levels, liver tests) and urine analysis done.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Bile ducts obstruction is rule out.

Detailed Answer:
Generally such pains are characteristic for either peptic ulcers (I do know you have had gastroscopy recently) or gallstones (stones in the gallbladder). As the stool is normal again, obstruction is ruled out.
But still you should have at least abdominal ultrasound to see the gallbladder.
If there was any problems revealed in the gastroscopy (like inflammation or H.Pylori infection), this might be the reason of your pains.
It is worth to try Omeprazole 20 mg once a day treatment to decrease stomach acid production.
