Question: I have a itching in upper left side abdomen and pricking I was treated for h pylori for the past 2 weeks but is off anitibiotics now but have discomfort in abdomen and upper back pain which comes and goes

Thank you for the query.

This location pain radiating to the back is characteristic for a kidney issue including an inflammation and stones. If so, you may also have frequent urinating and burning while urinating.
Slight fever can be present as well.

It is also possible that pricking and itching is caused by a Varicella Zoster infection which has already started. If so, some boils should appear shortly.

For kidney issues diagnostic urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound should be done.
